22 named to Fall Semester Region 21 Athletic Directors Honor Roll
The Northern Essex Community College Athletic Department had 22 student-athletes named to the Region 21 Fall Semester Athletic Directors Honor Roll as announced this week by Region 21.
Haverhill, MA (January 26, 2023) – The Northern Essex Community College Athletic Department had 22 student-athletes named to the Region 21 Fall Semester Athletic Directors Honor Roll as announced this week by Region 21. In order to be selected students must have been enrolled in a minimum full-time program of studies and achieved a semester GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The 22 selections for the Knights ranked as the third highest total among the 13 region members as NECC trailed behind only UConn-Avery Point and Community College of Rhode Island. Among the honorees for NECC were eight members of the fourth ranked men's basketball which marks the highest number of selections from any institution in the sport.
"As we continue to grow our program and excel on the courts and fields it is extremely rewarding to see the outstanding accomplishments our student-athletes are achieving in the classroom as they work towards the ultimate goal of earning their degree," said Athletic Director Dan Blair.
