Christian Colem named NJCAA First Team All-American
Northern Essex Community College men’s soccer standout Christian Colem has been named an NJCAA First Team All American
Haverhill, MA (December 9, 2025) – Northern Essex Community College men's soccer standout Christian Colem (Nashua, NH) has been named an NJCAA First Team All American as selected by the NJCAA Soccer Committee and announced by the national office earlier today. Colem becomes the fourth All-American for the soccer program, and 2025 marks three consecutive years a member of the program has earned first team honors.
The Region 21 Player of the Year and national tournament All-Tournament Team selection helped lead the Knights to their best season in program history as they finished fifth in the national tournament with an overall record of 13-4-1 and their second straight Region 21 and Northeast District Championships.
With the Knights offense running through Colem in the middle of the field he finished the season with eight goals and nine assists for 21 points on the season. The primary foot on all set pieces over the course of the season he recorded four of his eight goals off the set piece.
Colem becomes the 20th first team selection and 65th overall All-American for the Knights athletic program. Jadiel Bomfim earned first team honors in both 2023 and 2024.
