Haverhill, MA (November 30, 2025) – The Northern Essex Community College women's basketball team dropped a 48-44 decision at the hands of Suffolk County (NY) on Saturday afternoon by a 48-44 final score. The loss dropped the Knights to 4-6 overall on the season.
After jumping out to a 12-6 lead after the opening quarter, the Knights trailed by two points at the half 27-25.
Rhaelyn Gutierrez (Methuen) was the games high scorer with 21 points.
For the game, the Knights were held to just 22 percent shooting.
The Knights will return to the court on Thursday when they travel to Holyoke for the 5:30 tip off against the Cougars at the Bartley Center.
